Taequan Rashard Smith was born on Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore City to his loving parents, Zakiya Amira Carter and Rickie Hawkes. He was the oldest child and the cherished only son of his mother. From the beginning, Taequan carried a bright, unforgettable presence. His family lovingly described him as "a vibe" a young man full of humor, joy, and a natural energy that made every room feel alive."
