Tara Renee Griffin, daughter of William Sutton and Ora Mae Griffin was born
on June 6, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland. As a child she was given the nickname
"Poochie Pie" by her mom. Tara was called home after a lengthy illness on
Saturday, November 14,2015 to embrace the comfort of God's love.

Poochie or Pie as her friends would call her was educated in the Baltimore City
Public School Systems where she met numerous people and gained her popularity.
Growing up on Salem Street Poochie Pie realized it was more to life that she
wanted to explore. She left the, small street and made her way to Pennsylvania
Avenue and never looked back. A bowlegged small town girl with a unique voice
found her way. From the top of Penn Avenue all the way down to the bottom of
Penn Avenue everybody knew her, she was well known.

Tara was one of a kind. She was afree spirit who loved everybody she came in
contact with. She loved to meet up with her friends at Lexington Market, listen to
music, and eat her favorite "chicken breast. " Poochie Pie was very loving, friendly,
kind-hearted andfearless. Never been afraid of nothing or nobody.

She had a love like no other for her grandson Chase who she called "Ali Baba"
and on return he called her "Gertrude McGillacutty." They had an unbreakable
bond. Tara enjoyed spending all her time with Chase. Long walks to the store to
buy their favorite watermelon ice cream. One thing for sure he kept her on her
toes. Whenever she was having a bad day, Chase was always by her side to cheer "
her up. She would ask him to sing to her because enjoyed listening to his little
