Tenaya Tiffney Perry (affectionately called "Tweety Bird" by family and friends and "Tanooky" by her mother) was born on September 20, 1975 to Grover Lee Perry and Eula Lee Hudnell in Baltimore, Maryland. Tenaya died on March 22, 2014 at 9:40pm as a result of Lupus complications while under the care of Johns Hopkins Hospital. Tenaya was schooled in Baltimore City and graduated from Edmondson High School in 1993. After starting her work experience with Sharon Kind Dudley Law Firm, she gravitated to what came easy for her, which was a natural hair stylist. She took great pride in this craft, and acquired a large and varied client base. She was a very caring and loving person toward all who came across her path. She was a total advocate of natural skin, hair, and nutrition. She was always encouraging her friends to eat and live better. Tenaya was in effect, the glue that held people together. At a young age, she along with her mother and brother became acquainted with the ways of :Jehovah God. She was baptized on February 22, 1992 as on of Jehovah's Witnesses. Tenaya had a very close relationship with her brother (Duwyenn Perry). They were inseparable. She was not only his sister, but his best friend. She always made him feel (respectfully) like he was the younger of the two. She would easily make his friends hers too. During her last year of life, her mother proudly and lovingly cared for her daughters needs (at times warming the bed before "Tanooky" got in). They shared a lot of quality time together watching movies, and laughing. Their favorite pastime was eating.
