Obituary

Terry Dawayne Bruton was born on Friday, August 19, 1966 to the late

George and Rosalee Bruton. Bornie, as he was affectionately called by his

loved ones, was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. For

years, he worked at Martin's Junk and Savage Company as a trained metal

processor. Eventually, he retired from the Baltimore City School System

where he worked several years as floor tech.

Terry was a jovial person that loved his siblings and children with all his

heart. He lived to bring a smile to anyone's face that he encountered. At

gatherings, everyone could count on Terry to bring life to the party. He had

a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that

needed it. Bornie (New Born Baby), Five, Bad Boy Bornie, and Danger

Dan are just a few of the various nicknames that Terry acquired over the

years as he left his impact on so many people's lives especially in the Park

Heights Community.

On Monday, May 13,2019, Terry received his wings while performing a

selfless act of kindness in attempting to save the lives of others. While his

loved ones and those that knew him will miss him dearly, there is a sense

of peace knowing that he left this world with a badge labeled "hero".

He leaves to mourn their loss and cherish his memory: his loving children,

Aaron, Pandora, and Terri Bruton; his devoted siblings, Kevin Jordan,

Deborah Ruffin, Germaine Carpenter, and Doreen Bruton; his caring

grandchildren, Rylan, Samir, Anaya, Jaliyah, Tiana, and Zay'la; thirteen

nephews; ten nieces; 45 great nieces and nephews, and a host of other

relatives and friends.
