Obituary

Terry Bernice Clark was born on July 22, 1962 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the third child born to Barbara and Roland Clark. She was educated in the Baltimore City School System and she graduated from Carver High School. She later went to attend college at Sojourner Douglas College where she majored in nursing. Terry was a very bright student and excelled at everything she pursued or did. Terry, was employed at a major hotel chain for three years. While pursuing her degree at Sojourner-Douglas College, she pursued a position within the Baltimore City government in the field she was studying. Terry was later employed by Baltimore City as a nurse's aide working with the developmentally disabled adults. As a child and also as an adult, Terry loved to laugh and just be silly. In her younger years, she enjoyed going out to have a nice time and to enjoy the night life. Terry was a great cook; and people loved to eat her fried chicken, fried fish, potato salad, and beans. Not only was she a great cook, but she was also and impeccable dresser. She loved fashion and often dressed in the finest of clothing. Terry enjoyed going roller skatiing, going to the movies and listening to good music. During 1979 while she was employed at a car wash, he meet Angelo Gilshrist Howard-Bey. Although he did not win her over the first few times, he later became the love of her life. Terry and Angelo were later married and lived a wonderful life togather. Out of this union was born a beautiful daughter name Ayah Angel Faith Howard-bye. Ayah was born on May 15, 1996. Terry and Angelo loved watching Ayah grow into a beautiful young lady. In the early 1990's, Terry was nationalized into the Moorish Science Temple of America, Inc. she was a member of the Moorish Science Temple of America, Inc. who loved studing the teachings of all who love Jesus. The founder of the Moorish Science Temple of American, Inc. is Prophet Noble Drew Ali. She learned about her nationality while being a zealous student of her faith. Terry remained strong in her faith even after the death of her husband and the years leading into her illness. On July 12, 2011, Terry became suddenly ill and departed this life on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. She is survived by three sisters, Cheron Desiree, and Dawn; one daughter, Ayah; one god-dauther, Nicole; one son, Karon; Two god-sons, Ralph and Guy Jr.; one niece, Monae; a great-nephew, Devont; aunt Sandra Braxton; uncle, Aaron Johnson; three great aunts, Adelbert Gregory, Gloria Byrd, and Betty Williams; three great uncles. Jimmy Johnson, Hodges Epps, and Linwood Epps. She also leaves to mourn a host of dedicated family and friends. Preceding her in death are her mother, Barbara Clark; father Roland Clark; her husband, Angelo Gilhrist Howard-Bye, two brothers, Roland and Kevin Clark; one daughter Alexis and one nephew, Taivon. "We will surely miss the loving spirit of Terry."
