Thelbert "Thel" Alonzo Foxworth, son of the late Ruth Rebecca
Foxworth, was born on April 12, 1935 in Bayboro, South Carolina.
He departed this life on Friday, July 6, 2018 following a brief
hospitalization.

Thelbert received his education in Bayboro, South Carolina. He
briefly moved to Gainesville, Florida before eventually settling in
Baltimore, Maryland where he had since resided.

Thelbert enjoyed fishing, was an avid fan of Westerns, loved playing
the lottery, and taught his nieces to play cards . He loved to cook for
family and friends and his favorite desserts were watermelon and
sweet potato pie. Thelbert was an animal lover and often brought
dogs home for the family . He had a "green thumb " as did his mother ,
and loved to plant flowers. He enjoyed conversations with family
and traveled " home" to South Carolina whenever possible.

While residing in Florida, Thelbert gained employment at a
processing plant. He developed a great affinity for working on
cars and eventually became a mechanic after moving to
Baltimore, Maryland.

He leaves to mourn: one sister, Hazel; his brother, Hubert, preceded
him in death; one daughter; his other daughter preceded him in death;
and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
other relatives and friends.
