Thelma Mae Partlow was born on August 18, 1928 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Calvin Vaughn Sr. and the late Hilda Lucil
Vaughn. Thelma entered into eternal rest on July 1,2018. Thelma accepted Christ at an early age, later joining Lewin United
Methodist Church on July 19, 1987.

Thelma received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System. After School, Thelma met the love of her life, Abraham
Partlow Sr., and they later June 1, 1952.

Thelma was employed by the Baltimore City Public School
System as a Teache 's Aide at David E. Weglien (School No.2).
While employed at School No.2, she had the pleasure of not only teaching her own children, but also children throughout the
Flaghouse Community. On October 9, 1971, Thelma was hired
by the Housing Authority of Baltimore City as an office clerk in
the rent office of Flaghouse Courts. While

employed with the Housing Authority, she worked at various
sites such as Murphy, Homes and Lakeview Towers. After
27 years of employment with the Housing Autority

Thelma Partlow retired on December 31,1998.

Over the years, many organizations, such as the McKim
Center, have recognized Thelma for her services. Her
dedication and leadership resulted in her being n.:.:I"AA

"The Mayor" of Flaghouse courts.

Mrs. Partlow, often pronounced "Mrs. PoHow," enjoyed
crabs, shopping, and cutting rug at many family functions.
She welcomed everyone into her horne with open

Mrs. Partlow both spiritually and physically fed just
about everyone in the community and many of them have become honorary members of the Partlow family. Spending

with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and
great-great grandchild was the love of her life. Thelma was a great-grandmother who was always there and was awame
Grandparent Award in 2015 by the Calvary Lutheran School.
She never skipped a beat when it came to supporting her family.
This unwavering love for serving her family and
friends kept her young at heart.

Thelma will be remembered as a selfless mother and grandmother who always had a smile, even when times were tough. She had
a quiet strength. She never complained, and always put her trust
in God, no matter the circumstance.

Thelma leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Ray Partlow;
two daughters, Charlotte Partlow and Debra Partlow;
one son-in-law James E. Reid III; four brothers Larry Vaughn
(Leola), Calvin Vaughn, Leon Vaughn(Doris), and Clifton Vaughn(Florene), and one sister Lucille Vaughn; one sister-in-law,
Louise Wise, of Rock Hill, S.C.; 16 grandsons; 14 granddaughters; 15 great-granddaughters; 18 great-grandsons; 1 great-great grand-
son; 9 nieces; 15 nephews; a devoted niece, Yvette Oliver, and cousin; Hilda Butler; along with the Warfield family; as well as an endless host of friends who ultimately became her extended family.

The family would like to also recognize and give a very big "Thank You" to a lovingly devoted granddaughter who Thelma referred to as her "Mother," Lisa Partlow Smith. Lisa always assisted her grandmother with whatever she needed, and Thelma entrusted her with a lot, knowing that she would never let her down.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Abraham Partlow Sr.; sons Lawrence, Abraham Jr., Michael, and Anthony Partlow; daughters Patricia Reid, Barbara Partlow, and Glenice Cornish; brothers Carroll, Wilbert and Albert Vaughn; and sister Delores Oliver.
