Obituary

Theodore Albert Blackwell, son of Barbara Lee Blackwell and Rudolph Wilkins, was born October 23, 1964, in Baltimore, Maryland. He Suddenly departed this life to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Teddy, as he was fondly known, had a personal relationship with Christ. He received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System. Afterwards, he joined the United States Army to serve his country. When he was deployed in Grenada, his picture was placed on the front cover of People Magazine, of which he and his family were very proud.

Teddy was very intelligent with numerous skills, and had a memory like no one could imagine. Math and electronics were his field of expertise; however, he prided himself in being an entrepreneur, selling DVD' s, CD's, and a variety of other goods. He had a big heart. At any time he would reach into his bag of goods and give you a little something. Teddy was always willing to give a helping hand; whether it was helping you move, clean your home, etc.

Dot Com, or Two Watches as he was also called, loved his family and friends. At an early age, Teddy asked to live with and was raised by Catherine (Jackie) Holcombe), known as his other mother. He had a special bond with her. There was not a time when entering her home that he didn't clean the kitchen. Teddy was very neat and particular about the cleanliness of his surroundings. Recently, he kept the grass cut and cleaned around his childhood home, as a courtesy to the neighborhood.

He made numerous friends wherever he went. You always knew when he came on the scene; cracking jokes, laughing, having fun, and enjoying life. Dot Com was hilarious, with a free spirit. Running his mouth was his all-time specialty, and he couldn't keep a secret. As Teddy would say, "I'm, out.com"

Let's not forget how he loved his home football team "The Ravens." He would dress from head to toe in his Raven's gear, including Raven's fronts with ".Com," engraved on them. Initially, Teddy would include himself in other's tailgate parties. As time went on, the tailgaters looked forward to him showing up.

Teddy leaves to cherish special memories, a loving and caring mother Catherine Holcombe, affectionately called "Jack", his father Rudolph Wilkins, Sr. (Mae);" four sisters Joyce Harvey, and Rosalind Sims (Ernest), Jenelle and Michelle Wilkins, six brothers, Shawn Kennedy, Roger Holcombe (DaRonnah), Kofi Egyir, Raven, Irvin, Keith Wilkins, 1 uncle, Bernie Wilkins, Jr., four loving aunts, Janice Blackwell, Jewell Blackwell, Gwendolyn Smith, Dorleen Leazer (Marvin), and a host of other relatives, and friends .. Also left to Cherish his memory his Woods clan aunts and uncles, Inez Hawks (Perry), Marlene Jones, Lorraine Woods, Carolyn Noel, Cassandra Woods, Edward Woods (Alice), William Woods, Tyrone Woods, and John Woods. Teddy was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lee Blackwell, his brothers, Rudolph, Jr. and Ramond Woods Holmes; grandparents, Collins and Oshia Mae Blackwell, and Woods Clan grandmother, Inez E. Woods .
