Theresa was born at Provident Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. she was a beautiful baby and quiet by nature. Theresa got very sick at seven months old and has been disabled until she went home to be with the Lord on November 28, 2007. Theresa had a warm sweetness about her that emanated even when she was a baby. The people she encountered, that cared for her over the years, all said the same thing about her, ''Theresa is a sweetheart,'' however she was not a fan of touching. Theresa was one of God's special angels that came by here and radiated the love , peace and quietness of a clean spirit, magnifying God's love, ''agape love,'' she was a champion. resting on the wings of angels, she departed this life into the bosom of Jesus. Theresa leaves to treasure her memory, her loving mother, Julia Leighton, her stepfather, Nathan Leighton; two sisters, Audrey and Natalie; her nephews, Jeffrey and Kevin; her niece, Jessica; aunt, Leola; uncle, Devon; godmother, Pauline; a host of other aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. She will sincerely be missed.
