Theresa A. Davis,
daughter of Herbert Beverly and the late Hazel Beverly, was born on January
25, 1943
in Balti- more, Maryland. She departed this life after a lengthy illness on September 22
,
2015 at the age of
72.
She attended schools in Baltimore City and graduated from Frederick Douglas Sr . High School . She was employed at Bendix Radio Corporation, Western Electric and she retired from Westinghouse. Her career path ended at Value Food where she ran the bakery department and she enjoyed every minute of it.
Theresa loved cooking. She loved to bake and feed all her family and friends. If you ever stopped past her house you were definitely going to leave with a full stomach . She had a passion for shopping for kitchen gadgets and food. Going to the market was like going to MACYS to her. Her kitchen was filled with all types of knick knacks and appliances "As Seen On TV " , she ordered everything!!
A few of Theresa's past times included Playing cards, Bingo, going out to eat with her granddaughter Kayla and spending time with family . She loved to care for all the children and she was a nanny to Kymberly who fondly re- ferred to her as "Nana". Theresa was like the big sister to many growing up on Lyndhurst St .
Theresa leaves to love and cherish her memory: her father , Herbert Beverly; her one and only daughter, Karen Davis; a son-in law, Charles Knox whom preceded her in death ; granddaughter, Kayla Knox whom she adorned greatly ; four sisters, Dolores Brooks, Tanya Micke y , Terri Beverly and Christine Taylor whom preceded her in death; two b r others , Tony Beverly and Michael Beverly; also her favorite niece s and nephews, Tiffany (Her Poodie) , Stephanie, Tiant and Terrell.
