On this day, December 21, 2016, we gather together as family and friends to remember and to celebrate the life of Theresa Arleen Jones. Theresa was born in McDowell County, West Virginia as Theresa Arleen Tolliver to Savoy Lee Tenson-Tolliver and James Edward Tolliver.

On December 11, 2016 at Northwest Hospital Hospice Care, Theresa passed away quietly in her bed. Theresa was second eldest of seven children. Preceding her in death are sisters, Patricia, Yvonne, and Sheila . She leaves behind: brother, James; sister, Sharon and brother Eugene. Theresa Arleen Tolliver married the late Earl Wendell Jones Sr., and gave birth to seven children herself, Earl Wendell Jr., Anthony Russell , Isis Yolanda, Erica Savoy, twins, Waynetta Arlette and Sharetta Lynette. Years later Jacquelynne Michelle Moore was born to Theresa and James Moore, but passed away 2 years later. She also leaves behind in-laws, Andre, Theresa, David, Samuel and Veronica; grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony, Jacquelynne, Daryl & Earl, Marva, Christine, Daphni, Ashley, Marquita, Whitney, Britney, Amanda, Shakia, Mary and Dejon; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles in addition.

For a time, Theresa worked as a Nursing Assistant for Manor Care in Towson, Maryland, was a bar maid in several local establishments in her neighborhood, and was a landscaper for a time. Known by family as "Pookie ", by friends and neighbors as "Tea or Re ", by her children as "Ma or Mommy", and by her grandchildren as "Grandma", Theresa was a creative and artistic, funny and lovable, shoot - from-the-hip and feisty, woman.
