THERESA (Teresa) MARIA WATKINS was born October 10, 1961 to Bernard and Viola Watkins in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ms. Watkins was a kind, generous and cheerful woman who was always willing to lend a helping hand to persons in need. At a very young age she gave her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized in October of 1976. Ms. Watkins was also a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Baltimore, for many years. Theresa loved the 23rd Psalm.

Theresa was very industrious and at the age of 13, she operated her own frozen cup and candied apple business. Theresa also loved to sew, crochet, cook, shop, travel, dance, figure out puzzles and read her Bible.

In Ms. Watkins professional life, she worked for the Office of Child Support, The Division of Corrections and the State of Maryland I Job Administration. Over the years Ms. Watkins received many awards for professionalism, work excellence and team work attitude. Recently Ms. Watkins retired from many years of State Service

In her educational endeavors, Ms. Watkins graduated from Northwestern Senior High School in 1980. She also attended BCCC, Sojourner Douglas College and the University of Baltimore.

Ms. Watkins leaves behind: her beloved Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Watkins; two sisters, Dorothy Watkins and Bernadette Watkins and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
