Obituary Thomas Bevans was born on August 1, 1950 to Geraldine Bevans and Howard Moore in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on Friday, March 01, 2013. Thomas was educated in the Baltimore city public school system. He was employed for over twenty years at Gray & Son Inc. as a Black top superintendent until retiring in 2010. He became a friend to all that knew him. Thomas loved to walk and watch sports. He was an easy going soul, always wearing a smile. His humble spirit and easy manner will truly be missed. He leaves to mourn: One sister Helen Bevans, two Brothers; Ernest Bevans and Lawrence Bevans who preceded him in death; two Aunts; Doretha Bevans and Gloria China; One Uncle Donald Bevans; three daughters Carline Beverly, Tammy Bevans and Shawday Davis; two sons; Tommy Bevans and Jamark Davis; two daughter In laws; Sandra Bevans and Tracey Miller; Five grandchildren's; Tommy, Shakira, Tywuan, Tytee and Lil Jamark and host of other relatives and friends. GOOD-BYE It happened all so suddenly I couldn't say good-bye. But god was there standing with his arm open wide I couldn't keep him waiting. I had to leave you but please keep these thoughts as you go through. It is no longer a dream, that I longed to see of this beautiful place god had prepared for me. It's so important that you think of me, and my new place of rest, there is no need to cry nor wish it was the end because I will soon see you all again. Hold your head high and stay very strong as you continue to live your life and carry on. God has blessed me with so many years with a beautiful family and friends so dear. You must stop crying and yes, we must depart but hold to those memories and I'll be close to your heart.
