Thomas Abraham Brown, son of the late Pastor Thomas H. & Anna Moss Brown was born June 26, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on March 16, 2006 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Thomas attended church at Trinity A.M.E. where his father was the Assistant Pastor. He accepted Christ at an early age and recently rededicatd his life to Christ. Thomas was educated in the Baltimore City School System. He became employed as a Tow Truck Driver with Midtown Auto and later was self-employed as a Grocer in Baltimore. He also became employed as an Enviromental Service Supervisor at UMBC where he retired. Thomas was actively involved with the youth of West Baltiore and partnered with the Baltimore City Police Department. He received a Meritorious award for rendering Community Youth Service by the late Detective A. Burke. In 1954, Thomas met the love of his life, Thelma Colleen Romas of West Virginia. They were married on August 26, 1956. From this union they had four children: the late Thomas A. Brown II, Charlotte Y. Brown, the late Beverly A.P. Brown and David F. H. Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory: A loving and devoted wife, Thelma Colleen Brown, one daughter, Charlotte Y. Bain, one son, David Fontaine Henry Brown; two daughter-in-laws, Andrea Brown and Betty June Brown; two son-in-laws, Andrew Bain and Thomas Warren; one brother, Joseph Brown; two sisters, Eva Yip and Betty Brown, four sister-in-laws, Cynthia Brown, Barbara Brown, Geraldine Lawrence and Lorraine Fisher; two brother-in-laws Raymond Roman and Charles Roman; eleven grand-children and done great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
