Obituary

Thomas Wilson Davis, Jr., son of Thomas Wilson Davis, Sr. and Shirley

Louise Jackson, was born on June 15, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland. He

departed this earth on September 10,2019.



Thomas was educated in the Baltimore City and Baltimore County

School Systems.



For a time Thomas worked in the culinary field and at the time of his

death was employed by Becton Dickinson.



In his early years, he joined the Moorish Science Temple of America.

Later, he gave his life to Christ and became a member of Greater Refuge

Temple Church.



At the age of 14, Thomas read the books, "Man-Child in The Promised

Land" and "Native Son" and became an avid reader of all types of

literature. He also wrote short stories and poetry.



Thomas loved all sports especially football, he was a huge fan of the

Baltimore Ravens. As a teenager, he enjoyed playing football and basket-

ball. He also liked to play card games, Pinochle in particular.



Thomas loved his family. His parents and siblings well being was always

of great concern to him and he checked on them regularly. He had a

special place in his heart for children.



Thomas had a smile that would light up a room. It was rare to see him not

smiling or laughing. He loved people and people loved him.



Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Hank Holmes.



Thomas is survived by: his father, Thomas Wilson Davis, Sr.; his mother,

Shirley Louise Jackson; three brothers, Kelly Davis, Jason Davis and

Evan Davis; one sister, Jennell Davis; his stepfather, Rodney Kevin

Jackson; his stepmother, Denise McDuffie and a host of aunts, uncles,

nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
