Thomas Jesse Stanley son of the late Jesse Stanley and Gladys Thomas
Stanley. The youngest of six siblings was born December 19, 1928 in
Baltimore, Maryland. He went to his heavenly home on April 17, 2016.

Thomas received his education in Baltimore Public School System
graduating in June 1948. He graduated from the Cortez Peters Business
School in 1955 and attended Loyola College. He was a US Army
Veteran and honorably discharged in 1953 after two years of service in
Nuremberg, Germany. He also received a certificate in his service pen
from the veterans administration.

He loved to travel. He loved spending as much time as possible at his
home on the beach in V A. He loved his favorite chair and watch his
sports. He also loved to read his bible everyday.

Thomas had 25 years of employment with the Baltimore Civic Center
(now First Mariner Arena), 15 years of employment with Bluefield
Caterers and retired from the State of Maryland Department of Eco-
nomic Development after 28 years of service in 1984.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years. He leaves several nieces and
