June of
1975, Tim married his first love, Twana Jones. For work, Tim
worked for the family business, Pikesville Tailors. He later
transitioned to become a minor mechanic at Exxon Full Service
Gasoline and Service Station. To further his education, Tim took
classes in Data Processing and auto mechanics. He studied his craft of
mechanics because he wanted to open his own automotive repair
shop, and do what he loved to do, work on cars. His first car was a
1968 Sky Blue Chevy Impala, this car never had a speck of dirt on it.
However, his love for cars took a back seat to biking and landscaping.
He had clients east and west; he even rode his bike to Washington,
D.C. Tim was commonly known for his kind and gentle spirit. Those
closest to him can recall many things about his life that brought
laughter, and conversations that could last for days. He was also
known for his infectious smile. He would talk about his love for
muscle cars, body building, roller skating, and dressing in fashionable
clothing.
Timothy Joseph Forney Sr. is survived by his wife Twana. He also
leaves to cherish his memory four sister, Stephanie Wilson, Teresa,
Tamar Griggs (Sonny), and Tuesday; two brothers, Ted Jr. and
Tyrone; five children, Twantina, Timothy Jr., Quizzina, Kiamonique
Green (Roger), and Simone Dehaney (Jason); six grandchildren
Alexander, Izic, Giselle, Jalen, Zorah, and Zuri, a host of nieces/ great
nieces, nephews/great nephews, family, and friends, and loved ones.
