diabetes though, she passed of a massive heart attack.

"Cookie" as she was affectionately knoum ss thoee who knew
and loved her, received her education at Chesapeake Hi gh
School in Essex, Maryland where she graduated from in
JZ WlE 1992. She went on to further her education at Essex Communil JlC ollege in Rosedale, Maryland where she
studied General Stu . I 1iI s and obtained a certificate
in Unit Secretary in 1994. In 1995 she re m i il Jed her
Associates of Arts (AA) Degree from Baltimore City
Comm mi ty College, Baltimore, Maryland.

Tanya enjoyed spending time with her sc m/P atrick
Snowden Jr . (Pj), family cookouts, shopping, eating
and plfl Jiia g Cookie Jam on Facebook. She looked
forward to spending time with f bu MAN, Edgar Harris
(Boo) ofl0 years. Their relationship was f U J oflove, fun
and laughter. Boo kept a smile on Cookie face through
g.zBJi times and wearisome times. Cookie often liked going
out with he r childhood friend Donna Sherman-McKenzie
dancing and laughin glJr aving a good time on the dance
floor. Donna and Cookie were ofte1 !lffll gether on the
phone or in various stores shopping. They shared a
ptm1i1n of laughing, socializing and having lots of fun
regardless of their s u noundings. Tanya's #1
love was her son. Tanya shared the birth t ff oer son
with Patrick Snowden Sr. on March 21, 2001.

They shared the love of P J at first sight. T m ya's heart will
forever be with PI. She loved embarrassing PJ by kiB i l . g
him in public, making him blush and saying silly things
to make l Bm smile. PJ and Tanya were very close, and
she was very proud e fJI ze young man PJ has
become. PJ is the joy in Tanya's heart . Sh db Tved PJ
more than anything!

Tanya loved working in her medical caree r and she later
became a caregiver and provider for her mother, which
W l l S her main priority. Tanya and her mother lived together
which she lid pride in making sure her mom was giving the
best care. She loved _ mom very much!

Tanya and her mom not only were mother and daughter,
they were good friends. They shared all their thoughts,
emotions and worries with one another. Tanya's mom
depended on her to maintain the house and keep
everything in order.

A wonderful woman with a heart of gold (which she wore
plenty of gold jewelry). Tanya was kind, sweet, loving,
giving, gentle and tough when needed. Tanya was quick
on her toes, and never failed to tell you exactly how she
felt. She was always a listening ear while offering sound
advice, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

Tanya was received into heaven by her two sisters,
Sharon and Cynthia Jones and her brother Fernando
Jones.

She leaves to mourn her only son Patrick Snowden Jr.
(PJ); her mother, Sarah Jones; her father, brother
Gerald Jones; sister Geraldine Jones; a host of nieces,
nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews,
aunts, uncles and plenty of cousins; her love,
Edger Harris and her best friend, Donna
Sherman-McKenzie.
