Obituary

The plan for one Travis Cook, Sr. began a while ago. He was born to the late
Paula Cook and Lawrence Trent, Jr. on November 2, 1978 in Baltimore, MD.
Travis Cook received his education in the Baltimore City Public School
System and briefly attended Southwest Minnesota State University (SMSU).

Travis was a God-fearing man. He was a man who loved his kids, his wife,
and his family. He was well-spoken, an artist, and a philosopher.

He was a man who always put other people first and himself last. He was
always giving from the heart. He would give you the shirt offhis back.

Travis had a vibrant smile that would light up the entire room and did I say,
quite handsome. He was always positive like when you had a bad day; he had
a way of making everything better. He could turn a frown into a smile. Travis
always kept you laughing. He loved making everyone around him happy and
handled any task that needed to be done.

He overcame many obstacles in life, and ifhe was having a bad day, you could
never tell by the expression on his face. And Travis would make a joke out of
everything.

Travis was ambitious and can we say; he would make a hustle out of EVERY-
THING. He was always busy; he could never sit still. Just before his death,
he was even planning to go back to school to work on jets.

He walked this whole city ... Keep walking, Travis ..... Never going to see that
smile no more; hear that laugh no more .. ~ Man - Man - Man - Man.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, LaShawn Gamble; one daughter,
Laveah; four sons; Maurice; Travis Jr, Devontre, and Lave1; four grandchil-
dren, Travis III, Maurice Jr, Rileigh, Quion,; two sisters, Chantrel Bridgeford,
Tina Washington; grandmother, Mary Trent; mother-in-law, Carolyn Gamble;
god-mother, Cynthia Fitzgerald; four aunts, Donna Hilton, Kathy Howard,
Lisa Baker, and Pam Scott; close like brothers, Dominic Hall and Lawrence
Trent, III, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
