God's Angel.
Troy was born on August 27, 1958 at John Hopkins Hospital to Phyllis Ann Hill, whom
has preceded him in death. He was educated in the Baltimore City School System. Troy
had a passion for trucks so he attended truck driving school in Delaware. He later was
employed at Holly Farms and then became the manager at the Dorchester House Assisted
Living Home in Baltimore, Maryland. There he had various supervisory responsibilities as
well as overseeing daily activities, demonstrating health and safety standards, medication
administration and overall client well ness. During this time, Troy was bitten by a mosquito
and contracted the West Nile Virus which left his left arm paralyzed. However, even this
would not stop him from giving and helping with whatever he could.
Troy was one of the kindest and sweetest people you could have ever known. He was
very inquisitive and always wanted to explore many things and was eager to discover
how they worked. He had numerous talents and used them freely to assist those that
he cared about. Although Troy was soft spoken, his words of wisdom and intelligence
would often shine through like a beam of light.
Most of his time was spent at his sister, Beverly's house fixing anything that was broken
and enjoying a delicious meal that she prepared for him. They had such ajoyous relationship
and were not only siblings, but best friends. He enjoyed binge watching episodes of Spartacus
when he spent the night at his sister's house. To know Troy is to know how close he was to
his sister and how he loved his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all those who
came in contact with his kind spirit.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory; his sister Beverly Darlene Hill, a niece,
Kendra Turquoise Hill, father-figure, Oliver Hill, stepsisters, Patricia Hill Burrell and Kimberly
Hill Miller, aunts, Inez Love of Bowie, MD, Linda Smith and Ruth Crudup of Greensboro, NC,
and Vera Douglass of MD; uncles, Madison Smith of MD and Norman Smith of GA; very close
cousins, Linda McCormick, Kevin Smith, Darnell Smith
