Tyrus Jerome Williams, son of the late Charles and Leola Williams, was

born on September 7,1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life

suddenly on Friday, August 30,2019.

Tyrus was well known for making family and friends laugh, joke and just

enjoy life. He was upbeat all the time and no matter what the situation

was and who the person was, he would always try to help someone.

At a young age, Tyrus attended the Community Baptist Church located

at 2311 Garrison Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland. He attended at a young

age with his grandparents Arthur and Nellie Sharp, along with his mother

and siblings.

Tyrus was very well known throughout Baltimore, both positive and

negatively and that's when Tyrus decided on his own-- it was time for a

change in his life. In 2017 a new chapter of Tyrus's life began. Tyrus

earned his GED on June 5, 2019. He was so proud of himself and what

he had accomplished. With the help of a well known Baltimore Rehabil-

itation program, he learned several coping skills in dealing with his

struggle of chemical dependency. While in this program, he learned how

to make amends with family and friends. One of the family's fondest

memories was when Tyrus approached each individual family member

and asked for forgiveness for whatever offense he may have committed.

Family and friends knew that they had the old "Tyrus" back and were

much appreciative.

Tyrus worked numerous jobs throughout his life, customer service. He

worked side by side with his brother Ron at Wendy's Restaurant as a

cook. He also worked as a customer service representative at the Arena.

Tyrus leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Leola Williams; two

sisters,Valerie and Carolyn; two brothers, Ron (Cheryl) and Charles; one

uncle, Arthur; one aunt, Susie; three sons, and a host of nieces, nephews,

great nieces, great nephews, special friend, Trenna Smith along with

other relatives and friends.
