Ufezean Jennette-Gainers, the loving daughter of the late Henry & Truletty Judd, was born on July 10, 1918. She entered quietly and peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at the Genesis Nursing Home, located in Brooklyn Park, Maryland. She was one of seven (7) children; brothers, Sylvester Judd and Howard Judd, sisters Magdalene Wilson, Willamae Judd-Davis; and (twins) Geneva Judd-McLeod and Genova Judd-Donaldson. She was born in Sanford, North Carolina and later in 1953, she moved to Anne Arundel County, Maryland, to a community known as "Pumphrey." Ufezean was first united in marriage with the late Henry Jennette, Sr., and from that union they had a son, Henry Jennette, Jr., She later united in marriage with the late Alonzo Gainers andfrom that union she was blessed with her step-son, Thomas Gainers, step-daughter, Thelma Gainers-Dubois (who preceded her in death); and later in life she as blessed with a daughter, Deziree Walker. She was employedfor more than 30 years for the Family of Vernon & Helen Snyder, the owners of Snyder's Willow Grove on Hammonds Ferry Road, where she worked until her retirement at the age of eighty-four (84). Ufezean was an avid member of Community Baptist Church, and was also a member of the "Women's Progressive League." She loved to cook, and entertain family and friends at her home. Anyone who knew her loved her kind-heart and loving nature. Her son, Henry was the joy of her life. She loved children and was always willing to help the young mothers in the neighborhood with childcare or assistance. During spring and summer you could ride by the "yellow house on the corner" and there she would be tending to her flowers, plants and yard. She lived in that house until her health began to decline. She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted son, Henry Jennette, Jr. (daughter-in-law, Sheila preceded her in death); brother, Sylvester Judd of Washington, D.C.; sister Magdalene (Maggie) Wilson of Miami, Florida; step-son, Thomas Gainers Viewing Joseph H.
