Ulysses Jerome Brown, Jr. entered into eternal peace Tuesday morning on June 19, 2018.
He was born at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in Brooklyn, New York on December 23, 1965
to Ulysses Brown Sr. and Peggy Hopes both preceded him in death along with his
daughter Erica.
Ulysses worked various jobs but was employed with Hill Management at the Holiday Inn
in Timonium, Maryland.UB attended Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn New York
where he was a good student and recognized for his high academic achievements. UB
understood that learning was important in life but experiences in life are more
important to living a responsible life of which he did to the best of his ability. Those
who knew UB also knew that he was all about his family and friends and supported
them unconditionally.
Ulysses was referred to by all who knew him as UB. He grew up surrounded by the love of family however, on
July 23, 1992, he and his immediate family relocated to Baltimore, Maryland. UB was a faithful and devoted
father, grandfather, brother and uncle to practically all his keen folk, Edna's keen folk and those outside of his
family. However, short in stature with an air of quietness, UB was a dependable Warrior within his circle of friends
and the Leader of the pack within his family. He was definitely looked up to for guidance and direction and
reassured all"l'm here for you".
UB leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved Edna, five children: Mallah, Shantal, Barbara Ashley, Ulysses, III,
known as Baby UB and Tyrone. Five grandchildren Sha'mya, Mallah Jr. Mee-Ki, Brayden, Mayanna; three
godchildren, Kevin, Tamorrda, and Gerard; six siblings Vanessa, Kevin(Tarsha), Randy, Gregory, Sylvia, and John Jr.;
close nephews Richard, Shaborn, Damion and Pierre; close nieces Medina, Nefertima, Mia and Janasia; In-laws
are Crystal (Cleon) Gerald (Jennifer), Robin and Dawn (Glen) and a host of other close nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
