Obituary

Urania Brown, daughter of the late Dora Bell Brown and Milton Ed-
ward Brown Sr., was born August 5, 1957, in Baltimore Maryland. She de-
parted this life on January 9, 2019 at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown,
Maryland.

She was educated in the Baltimore City Public
School System as well as Job Corps. She had var-
ious jobs such a warehouse worker, night moni-
tor for a homeless shelter, and housekeeper.
Urania Brown was a very modest person who
appreciated spending time with her family and
friends. She loved attending family dinners, cook

outs, and attending relatives/friends birthday parties. Urania was a well
balanced person who appreciated the simple things in life. She was very
easy to please, hard-working, and self-driven. She enjoyed eating, watching
movies, and listening to music. Urania also loved to read, clean, and travel
to Virginia to visit relatives. Urania had a funny sense of humor when she
"turned up." However, Urania family and friends knew when to respect her
boundaries. Urania spoke her mind, was very candid, and stern. Urania
made several special connections wherever she traveled. Urania had a spe-
cial bond with lauren Tolson. Lauren was like the daughter she never had.
Lauren brought fulfillment and joy in Urania life. lauren spent adequate
time with Urania and made sure her day to day needs were met. Urania lov-
ing and caring spirit remains in our heart. Her memories and her legacy lives

on in her relatives and friends. Urania Brown will
truly be missed by all.
