Obituary

On Sunday, January 5, 2014 at home Vattel Leo Rose suddenly entered into Eternal Rest. Vattel affectionately known as Leo was born August 8, 1972 in Fort Meade, Maryland. Leo was the youngest child of the late Marcellus C. and the late Georgina W. Gray Rose. Leo received his education in the Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public School Systems. Leo had been employed at several restaurants in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Leo was a devoted sports fan. He loved the Ravens and the Orioles. He would watch and discuss Sunday NFL football with his brother in-law Mark Deily. He had plans to attend Orioles home games with his Uncle Ulysses Rose this summer. Leo accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Recently Leo embraced and studied several religions to converse and debate with his friends. Leo was very charming and was a "people person". Leo thought he was God's gift to females. He took pride in his appearance and would spend hours in the bathroom getting ready. His magnetic presence was instantly noticed when he entered a room. Leo loved traveling to England to visit his sister and brother and to see his mother's side of his family. Leo loved RiB music and almost daily would play his favorite recording artists, Luther Vandross and Phyllis Hyman. Leo will be truly missed. Leo's marriage to Sarita Brice Rose ended in divorce but they remained friends. At the time of his death he was engaged to Charity Stone who he said was his soul mate. Leo leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted brothers and sisters, Yvonne, Helena, John, David, Charles and his confidant Janet (Mark), nieces, Daneeka, Juanita, Tiya, Georgina, Bonnie and Mia, nephews, Tashaun and Commander. One brother Marcel and niece Tashiya preceded him in death. Also he leaves many uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Viewing Joseph H.
