Vedia A. Conyers-Woods, daughter of the late Charles and Josephine Conyers was born July 2, 1946. She was called home on Wednesday, November, 2014 after a short illness. Bootsie, as she was affectionately called was baptized at an early age and attended Morning Star Baptist Church. She was educated in the Baltimore City School system. After completion of high school, she aspired and developed the craft of cooking and soon became a chef. Bootsie was employed at International Hotel (BWI), Marriott Hotels, GBMC and Shepherd Pratt Hospital, retiring in 2000. She became an avid reader and loved to cook for family & friends.
