Velma "Lee" Roberts, was born in Hope City, North Carolina on November 29, 1930. God called her home September 11,2016 at Future Care Nursing Home soon after being diagnosed with cancer, tragedy struck her home at an early age.

She moved to Baltimore City where she met and married Sherman Roberts in the late 50' s. She worked some odd jobs but her main job was a house-wife and devoted mother.

Lee as she was called by family and friends loved to cook and watch soap operas, Days of Our Lives and All My Children to name a couple. Lee loved her family and she will truly be missed but never forgotten.

She will be joining in the after life her husband of almost 60 years Sherman Roberts; son, Micheal Roberts, other family members, Elaine Gray, Pastor James Gray and Orgery Parker and so many others praising God and talking trash.

She leaves to mourn: a brother, George Hershey; son, Lawrence Rob- erts; daughter, Sharon Respass; grand daughters, Tiffany and Paris Respass; grandson, Marcus Roberts; great grand kids, Tishay, Samaya, Mariah and Camden; numerous cousins, Van Lee Sherrod, Martha Griffen, Dishell Treet, James Gray, Gary Gray, Linda Kennedy, (friend) Evelyn Leach b.k.a., Dee-Dee and many many other family and friends.
