Venetta M. Johnson, daughter of the late John f. Johnson Sr. and Dorothy E. Thomas was born on Mdarch 23, 1951 in Baltimore, Mdaryland. On February 7, 2010, God called her home. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School system. She also Attended Arco Welding School where she graduated and received a certifate for welding. From 1987 to 2001, Venetta was employed with the University of Maryland Medical system under the Environmental Services, which she served as the Vice President for AFCME Locaal #2751 and secretary of treasury for AFCME Local # 2751. In 2003 Venetta was employed at Sinai Hospital, she worked there seven years prior to her homecoming. Venetta loved spending her time with her family. Her passion was fixing up hr home, trying new recipes and going to Walmart. She leaves to share her memory with her family; three children, Nirmala, LaShan and Clarence Johnson; eleven grandchildren, Kim, Inga, Erica, Venetta, LaShonda, Aisha, Brittany, Chelsea, Ladriea, Donya and Steven; seven great-grandchildren, Tyionna, Anija, Taiwan, Terron, Ayanna, Ne'Kei and Zola; sister Jacqueline Blair; nephew, John F. Johnson Jr. deceased; niece, Carla Matthews-Brown; nephew, Carl Matthews; four great-nieces, Asia, Maya, Emani and Taliah; two best friends, Helena and Lorraine; a dog, Boy; and a devoted friend, Albert Butler; and a host of other relatives and friends.
