Vera Barrett Taylor, the daughter of Beulah Barrett and Lester MCGilberry was born April 29, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on October 5, 2014. Vera attended Baltimore City Public School. She worked as a property manager for a management company for several years. "Michele" as she was well known, loved her family and also loved bingo, traveling, and was an all around fun person. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, William Taylor Jr.; children, Tanika Scott, Gwen Taylor, William Taylor Ill, Perish Foster, and Timothy Taylor; two sisters, Evorn Best of NC and Sherry Scott of MD; three brothers, James Dixon of NC, Jesse Barrett of NC and Steve Barrett of MD; aunt, Mamie and Uncle Leanda Beamon; six sisters-in- law, Dinah Barrett, Nee-Nee Barrett, Bessie Wright, Sarah Pitt, Carine Taylor and Ida Taylor Brook; two brothers-in-law, David Taylor and Eugene Barber and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends; two special friends Sharee Love and Diane Milburn.
