VERNElTA STEPNEY, daughter of the late Sally Lee Barber
Eaddy and Vernon Stepney, was born on June 30, 1963 in
Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on January 23,
2017.

She received her education in the Baltimore City Public
Schools. She managed several retail cooperations and held
various other jobs.

Vernetta was down to earth, always happy, ready to have a
good time, and spoke her mind. She loved her kids, her cat
Smokey, all her family and friends. Making friends everywhere
she went, she will sincerely be missed by everyone who
knew her. She was a true friend and a beautiful mother.

She leaves to mourn; her daughter, Nicole Amos; son, Kevin
Hart; a son from another, Melvin Bardney; three grandkids,
Kennedy and Karter Hart and Martaiz Johnson; nephew,
Martin Johnson; two aunts, Doris Barber and Ida Brandon;
and a host of other relatives and friends.
