Vernon Roary was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 5, 1956, the son of James and Mary Roary. He departed this life peacefully on October 13, 2008. Vernon, also known as Butch, was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He went to school to be a cable technician. He also enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1973, from which he was honorably discharged due to his siezure disorders. He was a man of many trades. Butch loved his family and friends. Once you met him, he was your friend. He was a very kind hearted, peaceful person with a beautiful smile. He confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He will be greatly missed by all. We know he is in a better place now, smiling down upon us. We love you. He leaves behind; beloved father and mother, James and Mary Roary; two sisters, Barbara Roary and Ivy Bellamy; brother, Mark Roary he was preceded in death by three brothers, June, Troy and Michael Roary; his children's mother, Sandra Jarvis; son Vernon Roary; two daughters, Shakeisha Jarvis and Victoria Roary; three granddaughters and one grandson, a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives including his favorite niece, Lynette Pitt and friends.
