Vidor Siva, was born on November 28, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland. He
suddenly departed from this earth on his birthday, November 28,2015. He was the
son of the late Theodore S. Silva and the late Laura J. Reid Silva. He was preceded
in death by his sister, Patricia Silva and his brother, Pierre Silva.
He graduated high school from Baltimore City College. Victor then attended the
University of Maryland, Baltimore County; he earned a Bachelor's degree in
Political Science. Throughout his lifetime, he worked as a Machinist at Westinghouse
and as a Housing Inspector with the Baltimore City Government. He also did
a great deal of home improvement for friends and family.
He had an affinity for both academics and athletics. During his youth, Victor was
an avid swimmer. In his spare time he enjoyed watching sports and news programs,
engaging in thought-provoking conversation, as well as reading the newspaper on
a daily basis without fail. He had a great propensity for learning. Victor had a
penchant for debating about various political, economic and social issues. Throughout
his life, Victor made many friends from all walks of life. This was attributed to
his youthful spirit, jovial personality, and positive outlook on life. He was talkative,
undeniably charismatic, and had an infectious smile that would fill any room. He
would not hesitate to help any friends that may have been in unfortunate circum-
stances whenever possible.
Victor was also a lover of animals, but most notable was his adoration of horses.
He aspired to one day become a horse trainer and had plans to obtain his license.
In his later years, Victor grew to enjoy watching televised sermons preached by
Bishop Walter Scott Thomas as he began to develop a deeper relationship with
God. Victor will be remembered as a man of strong principles. He lived his life one
day at time but always on his own terms.
He leaves to remember and mourn: his wife, Denise; son, Antoine; daughter,
Sierra; brother, Theodore (Buddy) Jr.; sister, Diane; three nephews, Dana, Pierre
and Teddy; two nieces, Consuela and Tara; along with a numerous amount of
friends. Viewing Joseph H. Brown Jr. Funeral Home
