IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Victoria A.
Black-Bey
March 10, 1957 – February 18, 2018
Victoria was born March 10, 1957 in Baltimore,
Maryland to the late Doris Thompson and Robert Brice
Featherston, both of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
She departed this earth on Sunday, February 18, 2018
after an illness.
She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and then went on to attend University of Maryland Baltimore County.
After completing Northwest High School in Baltimore City,
Victoria began her career in the field of Security. Over the
course of the years, she worked for several Security
agencies such as Liberty Security, Security America
Services, Johns Hopkins Security, and Watkins Security
Agency, where she was forced to retire due to an injury.
On June 2, 1974, Victoria married Hezekiah Black in
Baltimore City, Maryland.
Although she had no children, she considered her nieces,
nephews and god children her very own; and, she loved
spending time with her family and friends. She also loved
to read and to learn and experience new things. She was
caught up in the joy of living on a daily basis.
Vikki, as she was affectionately called, was a very simple
and very private person. However, she made numerous
friends wherever she went; and, if Victoria accepted you
as family, you were her family forever! She has accepted
numerous sisters and brothers who will miss her dearly.
Victoria leaves to celebrate her life her sisters: Maureice
Artis-Greene, Wanda Thomas, Elaine Meyers, and Dietra
Mayo along with a host of other family and friends.
