Obituary

Victoria (Smith) Nicholson, was born August 12, 1973 in Baltimore, MD to Wendell Smith (who proceeded in death) and Shirley Smith. Affectionately known as Vicki completed her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools System, and was graduateofWalbrook High School, classof1993. On Thursday, April 2, 2020, the Lord saw fit to call his daughter to her final resting place after a lengthy illness.



Vicki, gave her life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Mount Calvary-Baptist ChurchofBaltimore, MD where she did what she knew best, lending her beautiful voice to sing the praisesofGod on the Mass Choir. In 2009 she continued her spiritual journeyofserving and praising the Lord as a member and Administrative Assistant to the PastorofBeliever's Baptist Church, Baltimore, MD until her passing. Her favorite scripture and hymn was Philippians 4: 13 "I can do all things through ChristJesus, who strengthens me." and "I Need Thee Every Hour."



Vicki and Kenny Nicholson, Sr. were united in marriage on August 11, 2007 and from this union in 2001 produced one son Kenny Nicholson, Jr. her pride and joy. Vicki, love for children resulted in her spending her time as volunteer with the Rocket Learning Program, as a Leaming Aide at Gilmor Elementary School #107. Vicki always had a knack for cooking and on any given occasion could be found whipping up something good. She was always preparing to throw down in the kitchen. She will always be remembered for her loving spirit, strong will, quick wit and sassy personality which is why she was loved so much. Vicki, loved her family with all her heart and never passed up the opportunity to join in a family gathering for a good time, especially on holidays.



Vicki, leaves to cherish her memory: her loving husband, Kenny Nicholsonof12 years; one son, Kenny Nicholson, Jr.; her mother, Shirley Smith; one brother, Marcus Wilson; four sisters, Bernadette Smith, Patrice Smith, Lakeshia Jones, and Tameka Jones; one Aunt, Linda Gibbs; one Uncle, William Brown; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law. A loving hostof nieces and nephews; one god-sister Miranda Jessup; and two best friends Vera Williams and Tiffany Barnes.
