Viola Knotts, daughter of Annie R. Jackson and the late James McKnight was born on September 27, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on December 4, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Viola received her education throughout Baltimore City Public Schools. After receiving her diploma, she attended Baltimore Community College. Viola, also known to those who loved her as "Cookie", was full of life, loved to spend time with her family and friends. Professionally, Cookie worked as an administrative assistant for over 30 years. She also loved to help others, which made her loved and well respected by neighbors, friends and others. Viola leaves to mourn: her mother, Annie Jackson; one sister, Chandra (Moe) Hassan; two brothers, William (Boosie) Davis and James (Edward) McKnight; two daughters, Melissa and Danielle Knotts; two sons-in-laws, David Johnson and Vernon Miller; three grandchildren, Tyree, Dedonte and Diamond; eight aunts and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. George Davis, Milton, James, Eddy Davis and Helen, Kate, and Rosaea; three godchildren; two nieces, two nephews, several adopted children and a host of other sisters, cousins, and friends.
