Obituary

Virginia Lee Bost, beloved daughter of the late Albert and Florence Bost, was

born on November 21, 1942 in Baltimore Maryland. She peacefully departed

this life to be with her savior on June 12, 2019.

She received her education in Baltimore City School System, and Sojourner-

Douglass College where she received her bachelor's degree in Business

Administration. She worked at Westinghouse until retirement and then later

worked with the Maryland State Department of Corrections.

Most people thought that Virginia was mean. She was just a no nonsense kind

of person with no filter.

If you ever met her she would always encourage you to do your own thing.

She would tell all the young ladies to "Go get your education and career first

Don't be chasing behind them no good boys having all them babies". For the

young men, she would say "don't be a follower. Don't let the streets and the

jails raise you. Get your education and get a job. Don't be having all them

babies you can't afford to take care of, and leave them drugs alone". She

preached that until the end.

She really showed her compassion when she helped raise fosters children for

years. Two of which she thought of as her own was Bryan and Sammie she

bonded with and adored.

Virginia had a love for visiting various restaurants and sampling different

foods. She enjoyed food as well as gardening work in her yard and her

mother's home on Callow Ave.

She enjoyed watching comedies, The History Channel and Gangster movies

and the News. She enjoyed reading the Daily Bread and the Bible. She also

loved to listen to music, Oldies but-Goodies was her passion.

Her special joy was her two pet dogs named Ninety nine and Shorty.

Preceding her in death: ( father) Albert Bost, (mother) Florence Bost, (two

brothers) Albert Bost Jr and James Bost and one (sister) Dorothy Barlow.

She leaves to rejoice in her memory: two sisters, Gertrude and Frances Bost;

one brother Timothy Bost and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other

relatives and friends.
