Virginia Lee Jiggetts Clark, daughter of the late Annie M. Harrell and Robert Lee Jiggetts, was born on January 30, 1935 in Nansemond, Virginia. She danced her way into heaven on April 12, 2024.
"Ginny" as she was also known by, received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She was a proud alumni of the February '54 graduating class of Fredrich Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland.
On June 5,1954, Virginia was united in holy matrimony to Izel Clark Jr. her High School sweetheart. From this union, five children were born into this world, Wendell, Anthony, Iris, Rodney and Marvin.
Joining her devoted husband and four children, Virginia
leaves behind her loving son Rodney Clark and step daughter Cynthia Blount.
Virginia was always gainfully employed and worked at Maryland general Hospital as an Nursing Assistant before
joining and later retiring from Westing House in 1992.
"ginny," as she was affectionately called, was everyone's favorite grandmother. There wasn't a soul in this world that
"grandma ginny" "Ms. Clark" "Ma" or simply "grandmaaaaa" didn't love and adore. Everyone loved them some Ms. Clark, ginny was the neighborhood hero so if you know... YOU KNOW.
Virginia leaves to cherish in her loving memory, a devoted
son Rodney Clark, two daughter-in-laws Linda Clark and Dorthy Dorsey, eleven grandchildren, Wendell Jr, Shaneen, Stacey, Jenae, Sharnell, Talisha, Precious, Keon, Jamal, Marqui and Derrick, great grands and greatest grands Christopher, Shanira, Tijfani, Stacy, Malique, Dominic, Donaisha, Karon Jr., Darien Jr., Michael, Dominic Jr., King, Kahlani, Serinity, Ameer Jr and karlee, a loving and devoted sister Francis Braxton, two brother-in-laws James Vandiver and Henry Braxton, a host of nieces nephews and other family friends and relatives
