Obituary

Virginia Lisa Choi-George was born NuAi Cai on June 22, 1951 in Taishan Jiangmen, Guangdong, China to Reng Lei and the late, Weibo Cai (Father). Lisa, as she was affectionately called, came to the United States when she was nine years old. She was educated in the Baltimore City School System and graduated from Northwestern High School. Lisa later attended Business and Real Estate classes. Striving to be an independent young woman, she started working at a young age. As an adult Lisa tirelessly worked at least, 2 jobs ensuring that her children and grandchildren had everything they needed or wanted. Lisa continued this pattern until she suffered a massive stroke on September 27,2013 which left her in a coma. As a result of her illness, she came to be known as, "Sleeping Beauty." Lisa had a personal relationship with The Lord, that was demonstrated daily in her passion for caring and giving to others. She was always jolly and kept a smile on her face. Her unconditional love towards everyone she met resulted in a multitude of life-long, faithful friends. Lisa took great delight in cooking and baking a variety of meals to share. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading romance novels, watching movies, traveling, and going to the casino. She also loved watching sports. Her favorite teams were the Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens. Lisa took great pleasure in spending time with her family, friends, and devoted friend, "Scotty." She treasured the birthday dinners she shared with her children and grandchildren. Lisa took annual trips to New Jersey to visit her mother, sister, and other relatives. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory: Her Mother, Reng Lei; two Sisters and four Brothers, Guotian Cai, Guoniu Cai, Jinzhu Cai, Xinyun Cai, Guoqian Cai, and Guofeng Cai; four Daughters, Stacey (Gregory) Missouri, Peggy Ringgold, Syevetta Ringgold, and Crystal Ringgold; twelve grandchildren, Kristen Missouri, Gregory Missouri, Datwaun Raikes, Jr., Sadasha Raikes, Lathan Epps, Darryn Hough, Carlito Jones, Dylan Hough, Colin Vaughn, Jr., Dallas Hough, DeNiro Hough and Evan Vaughn; a devoted friend, Scott Tunson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
