Obituary

Virginia May Tiller daughter of the late Sherman Ellison and
Vergie Tiller, was born on May 3,1948 in Baltimore, Maryland.
On March 23rd, 2018 Virginia was called home to her reward after
a lengthy illness.

Virginia, who was affectionately known by many as "May" received her
education through the Baltimore City Public Schools. She was a talented
seamstress, and was employed at Misty Harbor for many years. Virginia
was also known for her cooking, especially her crab cakes and jumbo
shrimp. Friends and neighbors knew they could stop by and get a meal
at Miss May's house. Virginia was lovingly known as "Nana" by her
grandchildren. Family was very important to Virginia, and she enjoyed
taking her grandchildren to Lexington Market.

Although Virginia had serious health challenges she always kept a
positive outlook on life. You could always count on Virginia for a good
story and a warm smile. She will be missed by all who loved her so
dearly.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Dinah Tiller;
eight grandchildren, Octavia, Joyce, Melvin, Delana, Labria,
Diamond, Nygel, and Syrae; three great-granddaughters,
Zion, Zi' Aire, and Faith; one brother, Sherman Ellison;
two sisters, Gail Ellison and Karen Randolph; two nephews,
Michael and Gregory Ellison; two nieces, Dionna Stepney
and Da' Asia Ellison; one brother-in-law, Leroy Randolph;
one "Special Sister" Priscilla King; and a host of other
relatives and friends.
