Vivian Louise Johnson was born on October 5, 1930, in Johnstown,
Pennsylvania. She was the sixth child of the late Flossie and Saylor
Stephens. She slipped away quietly on March 15, 2022. God was merciful.
Vivian was educated in the public schools of Johnstown, Pennsylvania
and Baltimore, Maryland. She went on to study and graduated from
Cortez Peters Business School. Vivian became a successful entrepreneur
at an early age. Her first business venture was the "Bloomingdale We

of her goals, she still had a passion for fashion. Vivian took that passion
and became a private vendor for Westview Mall, several conventions,
and events throughout the city. Later, she opened her own store, Just for
Fun, in Inner Harbor Baltimore.
Vivian married the late Leroy Johnson on May 12, 1943. She was the
mother of one son and three daughters. All who knew Vivian knew her
love of her family. She was always findings reasons to bring everyone
together. Vivian was known for her good cooking and poetry; she always
shared her great talents at the annual Memorial Day cookout for her
family and friends. Vivian was the Baltimore Raven's number one fan.
Vivian accepted Christ as her personal savior as a young adult. She
joined Morning Star Baptist Church. She later joined St. Marks
Institutional Baptist Church, where she was an usher. Years later, Vivian
joined Bethel A.M.E. Church. Vivian loved her church family. She was a
faithful member and was an active member of the Ministry of Helps
Committee.
"Vivian" leaves behind a rich legacy, which will stand the test of time for
all eternity. Her sweet spirit will live on through the lives of those who she
touched and loved and loved her in return. She leaves to cherish her
