Vivian Theresa Moore, was born on July 23, 1922, to the late Robert and Agnes Jolley in Baltimore, Maryland. The Lord called her from ''Labor to Reward'' on February 23, 2008. Vivian was educated in the Baltimore City Public System and graduated from Douglas High School. In 1940 she met and married George Monroe Moore, Jr; who preceeded her in death. From this union they were blessed with one son Harold. As a young woman Vivian expected Christ as her personal Savior. she began her christian journey attending the Leadenhall Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Davis. In 1977 she joined Wayland Baptist Church. Once she dedicated herself to this place of worship she became involve in the Senior Missionary Ministry and the Fundraising activities of the church. She continued as a devoted member until her health failed. Although she was confined to a nursing home Vivian knew that the Lord was her Keeper and her Strength. Therefore the only activity that she participated in at her care facility was the Sunday Morning Worship service. Wivian was a devoted Wife, Housekeeper and Caretaker of many. She loved children and before there was official Neighborhood-Watch there was Grandman Vivian. She helped many mothers and families in the neighborhood and surrounding area. Grandma Vivian along with Aunt Ivory have kept up to 15 kids at a time. they ran a ''tight ship'' all that knew her loved her. Wivian leaves to cherish her memories: one son Harold Moore, Sr. his wife Sandra; two grandchildren; Harold, Jr. Angelique; seven great-grandchildren; Kimia, Monique, Brittany, Brandon, Bradley, Breaira and Antoinette; four great-great grandchildren; Maya, Eric, Monae, Dairyein, one Godson; Sammy Morant, and a host of other relatives and friends.
