Vonzella Virginia Johnson

the daughter of the late

Marcella Smith and John

Johnson was born in

Lebanon, Missouri on

February 20, 1954 and

departed this life on August

20,2019 after a long battle

with renal failure. "Von" as

she was affectionately

known, moved from Missouri

to Baltimore at an early age and

matriculated through Baltimore

City Public Schools and attended

Douglass High School in

the1970's. After high school, she

worked various jobs ranging from

housekeeping to clerical assistant. '

Von gave birth to two

wonderful sons Quentin N. Scott

and Nyzinga L. Brice who she

adored. Von loved to

spending time with her

grandchildren, friends and family. She enjoyed going out to

different restaurants, getting her nails done and

attending plays and movies. Von was an avid picture taker

and would take pictures of anyone who crossed her path.

Most of all, Von enjoyed shopping, she never missed an

opportunity to take a bus trip or go to some place new to

look for something to buy.

She leaves to cherish her memories sons Quentin (Rhonda)

Scott and Nyzinga (LaTina) Brice; siblings Ezra Eugene

Johnson, Valerie Muldrow, Michael Tate & Lisa Tate; Grand-

children Malik, Deontaye, Tywon, Nyziera, Nyinma, Nyinga,

Quentin II, Reon, Jamal and Zhane (DuDa) and one who

preceded her in death Nyzinga Jr; stepdaughter Yolanda

McCoy; Great Grandson Kentrell; Godson Emery; one special

friend dear to her heart Darlene Jackson; 5 nieces and 2

nephews. In addition, she leaves to mourn a host of cousin

relatives, and friends especially the staff/family at Bon Sec-
