WALLACE LEE BROCK, most affectionately known as "Poose" to his loved ones, was born on December 4th, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Wallace Lee Brock Sr. and the late Lula Mae Brock. Wallace was the first born child, followed by the late Ivory Johnson, Rodger Brock, Wayne Brock (Virginia), Linda Smith, and Leslie Drummond. Wallace attended Carver Technical High School, in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating, he went on to join Bethlehem Steel, where he worked on the ship side for 30+ years until his retirement. After leaving Bethlehem Steel, Wallace worked at Zurich Insurance (where they fondly named him Lieutenant Brock). Wallace was an avid sports fan, with his favorites being the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. Watching baseball, football and golf were some of his favorite pastimes. He also had a fondness of sharing his love of food with those whom he loved. From teaching how to properly steam crab legs, the Baltimore way, to frequenting family favorites like the Double T Diner, sharing food was showing love. In celebrating the life and legacy of the beloved Mr. Wallace Brock, we have to celebrate what he valued most, his family. Wallace leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Rita Francine Brock, his children; Adrian Brock, Craig Brock (Deirdre), Rodney Brock (Lisa), Anthony Brock (Tonya), Kirk Brock (Dia), Shawn Brock (Ingrid), Kirk Thompson (Ruth Ann), Derrick Thompson (Peggy), Kimberly Terry (David), Troy Cornish, and Arielle Williams. Wallace was preceded in death by his daughter, the late Michelle Harrod. Wallace also leaves behind to cherish his memory, twenty-two grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
