WANDA VENDOVER DELANEY was born Wanda
Vendover Cooper on June 2, 1963 to the late Robert Lee and
Annie Bell Cooper in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed her loved
ones July 15, 2019.
Wanda was the youngest daughter of nine siblings. She was
educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. Over the
years she was employed at Harte Hanks,HSBC and Securitas at
Proctor and Gamble.
Wanda enjoyed shopping, cooking, traveling, and spending time
with her family. She took pleasure in entertaining her
grandchildren.
Wanda met and married Michael Baker Sr. on June 1, 1992. Years
later, she met and married Darrell Delaney on June 19, 2015 with
whom she would spend the rest of her life with.
Wanda impacted the lives of many with her love. Wanda was
preceded in death by her father Robert Lee Cooper, brothers John
Henry Petty and Chucky Petty, sisters Kay Cooper, Mary Wyche,
and Brenda Clayburn.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memory her husband Darrell
Delaney, mother Annie Bell Cooper, sister Addie Stevens,
brothers, Rodney Cooper (Kimberly) and Peter Ruth Petty,
children Kisha Cooper (Wayne) Maurice Briggs (Shantiya) Michael
Baker Jr, (Demetria) grandchildren, Khari, Kayla, and Kiera
Cooper, Makenzie Highsmith - Briggs, Michayl Baker, and
Michayla Baker and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
