Wanda Elaine Geter, daughter of the late Thomas Geter and Joyce Geter-Gardner, was b9orn of February 3, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 after a brief illness. Wanda the first born daughter of eleven children, was loves by those who truly knew her. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friends. She was very close to her family and friends. At times, she did march to a differennt drummer. In her later years, Wanda had developed a quiet nature, she had over come a lot of her struggles. Wanda was a strong and independent mother and grandmother. She made sure her family was secure. No matter what the family had to face, you can rest assure Wanda B.K.A. Laney had something to say about it. You could hear nieces and nephews calling on Aunt Laney; with respect and love. They listened. Wanda was preceded in death by, her father, thomas Geter, her sister Gwendolyn Cookie, her brother Terrell, Tremaine and Anthony and her granddaughter, Brantice Spencer.
