Obituary

WENDY ROWLETTE was born on February 28, 1958 to the late Mary Elizabeth and Harold Edward Rowlette. The Lord called Wendy home on January 6, 2013. Wendy was always driven and goal oriented. She was very kind and generous. She was very forgiving and compassionate. We loved her dearly. Wendy received her early education at St. Ambrose Catholic School. She attended Seton High School before transferring to Western High School where she graduated. She attended Morgan State University where she was on the Dean's List. She began working early in life. She had various jobs, Memorial Stadium, Social Security Administration and later at the United States Postal Service from which she retired as a Manager of the Towson Branch after thirty-five years. Wendy loved her family. Family and loyalty were very important to her. Wendy had many favorite things she loved to do. She loved the holidays, dancing, gambling, playing cards, fishing and celebrating her grandchildren's birthdays. She was an avid sports fan. She also enjoyed cooking and making fantastic recipes she found on the internet. Wendy had an "eye" for decorating and was very good at it. She could also pick out a "mean" dress. Wendy affectionately known as "Wawa" by her grandchildren, leaves many to cherish her memory: her daughter, Kimberly Stewart; son-in-law, Dwayne Stewart; five grandchildren, Kendall, Deion, Joirdan, London and DJ; three sisters, Kathy Rowlette-Johnson, Tracey Rowlette and Sandy Parsons; brother, Timothy Rowlette; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Parsons and Eddie Johnson; sister-in-law, Pam Rowlette; four nieces, Jasmine Parsons, Taylor Rowlette, Zyiana Rowlette and Lauren Rowlette; two nephews, Devon Rowlette and Taaron Rowlette nephew, Kevin Rowlette preceded her in death; three special friends, Sharon Robinson, Korea Fong and Karen Clark; her entire Postal family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
