Wilbert Mullins was born to the late Sarah lee Benson and late William Mullins on January 19, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. He gained his wings on January 27,2026.

Wilbert affectionately known as smiley received his education in the Baltimore city public school system. He began his career as a laborer construction worker for many years until his retirement.

He was very crafty at building furniture such as tables, benches, chairs and decks.

He loved spending time with his family for Sunday dinner and holidays. He was a major fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed sitting back watching them play. Smiley loved and cared for all the cats in the community as if they were his own kids. He ensured that they all were fed.

Smiley lived a life full of love and laughter while creating unforgettable moments with his loved ones. His hobbies were drawing, sewing, watching western movies, listening to music, radio talk shows and sitting outside on the front steps talking to the neighbors he will truly be missed by all for his overwhelming love for his family, friends and community.

His legacy of kindness and unwavering dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Lee Benson: his father, William Mullins: brother, Randolph Mullins sister, Gloria Mullins: and niece, Jessica Mullins.

Smiley leaves to cherish his memories, his one and only baby girl Shawnta Mullins and her mother Valarie Wilson: His loving sisters and brothers, Sharon, Denise, Johnnie, Raymond (Theresa), Larry, Bernard, Gregory (Helen) and terry and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
