William Branch Alston, Jr., son of William Branch Alston, Sr. and Lily Alston was born on January 19, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland. Suddenly God called him to his peaceful home on March 18, 2017.

Bink or Binky as he was affectionately known was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He also attended the Delaware School of Trade where he excelled and received a degree in carpentry. Binky would go on to work numerous jobs in carpentry as it was one of his proudest accomplishments.

Binky was the proud father of one son, William Branch Alston, III and one daughter, Shan'kia Alston both of whom he loved dearly.

Although he had a quiet demeanor, if you knew Binky, you knew that he would do anything to help anybody as he was generous in giving a helping hand. No matter when or where he saw you he would always ask "do you need anything" or "if you were ok". Binky made many friends and he will sincerely be missed by all that knew him.

Binky was preceded in death by his brother, William Darnell Alston and the love of his life, sister, Teneira Alston as well his maternal and paternal grandparents and a host of aunts and uncles.

BinklBinky leaves to cherish his memory: loving son, William Branch Alston, III; daughter, Shan'kia; grandchildren, Knowledge and William Branch Alston, IV; his devoted mother, Lily Alston; father, William B. Alston, Sr.; two sisters, Sheila Alston (Warsaw, VA) and Caroline Williams (Baltimore, MD); two brothers, James Jacobs and Marvin Jacobs (Baltimore, MD); two aunts, Catherine Simmons (Melvin) and Doretha Hilton (Rickey) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
