William Sylvester Barnes III was born to William and
Maryetta Barnes on Thursday, December 6, 1956, in
Baltimore, Maryland. He was the sixth of 11 children.
William departed this life unexpectedly.

William attended Baltimore City Public School. At an early
age, William took on the skills of carpentry. Later in his life,
William chose to add to his skills and became self-employed.

He had a heart of gold; if he could do it for you then it would
be done. He was a brother to all. Though he was a workaholic,
William found time to live for himself. He was lover of music and
his drum sets!

William is survived by his parents; two sons, Antonio Barnes
and William Sylvester IV; two grandchildren, Tonyae Barnes and
Erik Johnson and one great grandchild James; eight sisters,
Patsy Jackson, Venda Richardson, Saundra Emerson, Marilyn Barnes,
Wilma Barnes, Gloria Barnes, Cynda Barnes and Toni Barnes; two
brothers Louis Pearsall and Johnnie Pearsall; a life-long friend Darlene
Rowlette; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
