Obituary

William Bradford, Sr . better known as Sonny, Sonnydaddy, Papa Sonny and Grandfather, was the son of the late Malcolm and Mable Bradford who preceded him in death . He was born in Prince George's County on February 12, 1920 and departed this life on September 30, 2015, He was the eldest of 18 children .

William received our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at a very early age , He received his education in the Baltimore City Schools, He served in the United States Army during World War /I, After being discharged from the Army, he went to work for the Beth l ehem Steel Company until he was hurt in 1964 .

William was married to the late Helen Bradford for 72 years who preceded him in death 2 years ago , From this union came fifteen (15) ch i ldren . Two of whom preceded him in death . Robert Bradford and Rodney Bradford.

William was a family man and he enjoyed life to the fullest . He loved to read and he enjoyed music, He was an avid fan of "Nat King Cole ". Most of all , he enjoyed his grandchildren and great - grandchildren . They couldn't wait for the weekend because he would go to see them and bring them their treats, cookies or donuts , He was always a pleasant person .

William leaves to cherish his memories : Seven (7) daughters: Harriette Bush (Randolph), Madeline Daughtrey (Alvin) , Wilhelmina Bradford, Earlene Bolden (William) , Shirlene Powell (Rufus) , Camilla Crump and Claudette Bradford; Six (6) sons: William Bradford, Jr . (Cassandra) , Ronald Bradford, Randolph Bradford (Cherylj, Reginald Bradford, Claude Bradford (Monique) and Keith Bradford (Amy); thirty-five (35) grandchildren , sixty (60) great-grandchildren, twenty-five (25) great-great-grandchildren , two (2) sisters: Pearl Bradford and Gloria Bradford and a host of nephews , nieces and cousins, Viewing Joseph H.
